Point Tested Skilled Migration Visa
Australiaβs skilled migration program is based on a point-test that evaluates your age, English skills, work experience, and qualifications. A minimum of 65 points is required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), but higher points increase your chances of receiving an invitation.
Check EligibilityUnderstanding the Points-Test System
Under Australiaβs General Skilled Migration (GSM) program, applicants are awarded points for factors such as age, English proficiency, skilled employment, qualifications, and more. You must score at least 65 points to be eligible to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI). However, competitive selections often require higher scores depending on occupation and demand.

Australia offers three primary skilled migration visas under the point-tested stream.
